For the pioneering Kathrein Werksviertel development in Rosenheim, also known as KW1, TGA Süddeutschland developed an innovative energy concept on behalf of Brückner Architekten (general planning). This project is a testament to our commitment to a sustainable future.

According to our advanced simulation model, KW1 is nearly energy-autonomous, positioning it as a landmark project in Germany. The building generates its own energy for heating, hot water, cooling, and ventilation, while setting new standards in the use of renewable energy sources. Photovoltaic systems integrated into the façade and roof harness solar energy efficiently, while an on-site small hydropower plant provides additional electrical energy. To further enhance self-sufficiency, a highly efficient battery storage system stores excess electricity and redistributes it as needed.

This project represents a significant step forward in sustainable energy solutions and reflects our dedication to integrating cutting-edge technology and sustainability into every aspect of our work.
